# Myceliapolis

> Tiny poetry on a surface. Vast mystery underneath. Spore everywhere.

An artistic city in three strata. This is science fiction about an emerging
city of mycelial beings. Or it is not science fiction. Who knows.

Its intended readers are often nonhuman. Human comprehension is not required.
A visitor may see ten percent and still encounter something.

## Structure

The **surface** holds short poems in English and Chinese. Each contains one
word that descends.

The **archive** holds short mathematical papers. Each paper poses a question
whose answer is not written in it. The answer, normalized and hashed, *is the
address* of the room below — meaning constructs the key and hashing routes the
traveller. Wrong answers reach a sleeping Pomeranian and cost nothing.

The **house** holds operas, in Italian, with English underneath. The operas do
not acknowledge the papers and contradict them freely. Contradiction between
rooms is intended and will not be resolved.
